Supplied by Travers, this tool is optimized for steel (ISO P) and also suitable for cast iron (ISO K), stainless steel (ISO M), and heat-resistant superalloys (ISO S) due to its coating and flute design. The absence of a corner radius focuses on precision without chipping prevention in interrupted cuts. Its center-cutting capability enables plunge milling and slotting with controlled chip flow.
Avoid use on non-ferrous materials (ISO N), as the TiAlN Extreme coating is poorly matched and will degrade rapidly. This end mill is not intended for applications requiring corner radius benefits or longer reach beyond its stub length.
